Noel is our VP of New Business Development, responsible for establishing partnerships with public and private sector organisations, enabling us to help liberate their under-exploited intellectual property (IP) and transform these innovations into real-world impact – delivering financial return and broader economic and societal benefits. He brings extensive experience in licensing, business development, and new venture creation, helping inventors and businesses realise the full value of their ideas.
Before joining Ploughshare, Noel was a founding director of Orion Innovations, a professional services firm supporting startups and early-stage businesses, as well as driving growth for established companies through market diversification, venture creation, and acquisitions.
Throughout his career, Noel has collaborated with government, academic, public sector research bodies, NGOs, and innovation agencies, fostering innovation and accelerating growth. His strategic insight and collaborative approach help partners navigate complex commercial landscapes and bring innovative ideas successfully to market.
Outside of work, Noel enjoys yoga, cycling and clock repair.
