Gordon is Ploughshare’s Commercial Director, bringing extensive business experience to the executive team as the organisation enters its next phase of growth. He plays a pivotal role in driving the commercialisation of technologies, building strong partnerships with licensees and creating spin-out businesses to help innovations achieve real-world impact.
Gordon’s career spans leadership in business development, academia, and product innovation. He began his commercial career as Business Development Director at InSync Technology, later moving into a strategic role at Brunel University. Earlier, he led product development teams in the broadcast industry, gaining valuable insight into translating complex technologies into market-ready solutions. He also holds an MBA from Henley Business School, which underpins his strong commercial and strategic expertise.
At Ploughshare, Gordon brings this breadth of experience to shaping commercial strategy and building the networks that support our continuing growth.
Outside of work, Gordon is a competitive racketball player, though with a young family, spare time is often in short supply.
