Sandy is a Commercialisation Manager who works across Ploughshare’s Defence and Security, and Climate, Environment and Sustainability portfolios, and is passionate about turning cutting-edge science and innovation into practical, impactful solutions. With a background in materials science, she brings deep expertise in understanding and manipulating the materials that make up the world around us.
Before joining Ploughshare, Sandy gained extensive experience in industrial research and development and product management. At Ploughshare, she plays a pivotal role in guiding technologies from the lab to licensing or spin-out, helping realise their commercial and societal potential. Her hands-on approach and commitment to innovation ensure clients and partners benefit from practical, effective solutions.
Outside of work, Sandy enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time with her young family as well as channelling her creativity and problem-solving skills into ambitious DIY projects.
